Grey Words betaMy last night in Vietnam
April 30, 1975 was my last night in Vietnam. It was more like an adventure for me at the time. I know my parents worried a lot at the time. The patrol boat carried about 200 people, with machine guns, etc... It was dark, the boat engine is very quite. All the light was off... We were slowly moving in the middle of the river heading toward the open sea - Pacific Ocean.
Airplanes were fighting in the sky. Vietnamese temporary president was resigning as we were slowly cruising down the river not knowing when we had to fight our way out to Pacific Ocean.
Interesting - might check out whether it was a battleship, patrol craft or destroyer.
I believe it should be a Patrol Craft rather than a Battleship.
