Gulf Shores Shrimp Festival - 2010

Date October 11, 2010 | Print | Bookmark | Share | Email

The Shrimp Festival is held annually at Gulf Shores, Alabama. Many people were concerned this year that the Festival wouldn't have a good turnout because of all the stories regarding the BP oil spill and the tarballs etc. In spite of all the horror stories the Festival was a huge success. Perhaps, the greatest turnout in its history. Here is a slide show of some of the activities that were going on. The slides range from photos of the shoreline, entertainment from amature and professional entertainers, and the crowds wandering through the concession stand area trying to decide what to eat or what to buy from the many concession stands.
